My students may be brilliant and creative, but my are they wiggly! I noticed when they were productive, they were also moving constantly. I decided they needed an outlet for that energy that would still allow them to be productive. I thought that a more flexible classroom would give them a space to be creative while they wiggle.
I am a firm believer that learning looks different for everyone, and that includes those who need to move while they learn. I want to include wobble stools, bouncy bands, and floor desks into our classroom to provide non-traditional learning environments for my students. My only goal is to give my students the best of the best, always.
