We’re a busy and joyfully loud group of learners. One of our districts’ decisions was to have us pilot a program called iReady...which requires using chrome books in the class. Without headphones, it’s challenging for 5-6 year olds to focus. This age group thinks out loud. Listening to 16 friends using 16 chrome books without headphones makes it even more challenging! We also use our chrome books to support and explore literacy and math learning. Teaching how to use technology in the classroom is the direction we’re heading. So, having access to hardware to support this is a necessity. The headphones are not provided by the district...making it a struggle to best support student learning
