We are requesting five Kindle Fire tablets and cases for the opportunity to be more technology efficient with the use of tablets. Handheld devices enable students to have access to technology and knowledge right at their fingertips. Technology within our district is still growing. At the moment however, we are not a one to one school. The use of the Amazon Fire tablets and protective cases will enable students to follow up on lessons taught in their general education curriculum, enjoy partnership reading with a friend, or even learn to use green screen technology to to make and edit their own movie clips. Any great educator will always do what is best for her students, and I believe providing them with as much technology possible is a step forward in the right direction.
