Our school is in an area where our students have the ability to enjoy and learn from outdoor activities. Being able to reduce the chance of experiencing a concussion is essential to the preservation of our youths' young brains, and therefore, enhance their ability to learn! Helmets are essential for our skating, skiing, and biking activities.
The hope is to provide each student a well-fitting helmet in order to promote each person's safety and prevent brain injury, thus, protecting and preserving the brain and making learning fun. If students are taught the importance of safety equipment at a young age, hopefully, they will be able to pass this information on to others. The children will not have to be reminded to use the equipment because it will become an integral part of the routine!
