Right now, I have a very small rectangular table that only allows me to call back two students at a time. We do not have a lot of space to work on so trying to do games or have individual help from me is almost impossible.
This table will allow me to call several students back and work on different strategies with each one or play games together so each student gets a chance to feel special. I will be able to successfully call each student back so that they get a little bit of my time and attention every day.
I would also like to begin reading groups with my higher level learners, and this will keep us from having to sit on the floor.
