A light table can be used to enhance literacy, math, and writing skills in fun and playful ways. Children are naturally drawn to the gentle glow of the light table and tend to stay there for long periods of time, which is great for stretching those budding attention spans. Children can learn to write their names using the light table. Children learn to work together with interactive project based learning. Children will learn from each other. Children will learn to work in teams and plan together. My project will allow children to connect the classroom environment to their own life.
