In the past four years I have been trying to set up the most successful choir classroom. I have a very large room that is continually making improvements. We recently got rid of some very unsafe risers in my room and now the students sit in chairs on the flat floor.
With the piano I have now, not only do the keys stick, but it is so high I can't effectively communicate with my choir. I always teach them that when they sing they have to communicate the purpose of the song with each audience member. It is very difficult to model this when half the choir cannot see me.
This piano would greatly help with some many aspects of my classroom. I have also increased the amount of piano skills I teach my students, so they can be more self reliant. Yet, we don't have enough quality pianos for them to practice on. This item will enhance our vocals. They are the" keys" to our success.
