Currently, my students are sitting in very old desks that are falling apart. Due to the style, the only way the students can be grouped is if half the class has their back facing the board. It is hard enough to keep the attention of 2nd grade babies; imagine if they have their backs turned too!
With these desks, students will be able to be grouped in a way that all students can see the board and still have teammates nearby to help one another and build on their ideas with. With a small campus and dwindling budget, this will never happen on a campus level, and if it does it will definitely be too late!
