Currently, my players have one cart of half flat volleyballs for the entire program, a program that we have been working to build. We went from having barely enough players for a varsity and JV team to having 3 full teams and the potential for a 4th. Obviously, it is unfair to ask 40+ athletes to split 20 volleyballs. And what happens when we have a JV and Varsity tournament on the same day?! In the past, we have had to ask other teams to borrow their volleyballs for warming up. Our JV team gets slighted and has practices where they have to learn by watching varsity because we don't have enough resources. These volleyballs and the volleyball cart are absolutely necessary materials for any volleyball program, and my players deserve to have a fair shake at bettering themselves, like the other schools in our district. Please help support evening the playing field for these hardworking girls.
