With headphones, students will be able to daily participate in reading rotations. Two of those rotations involve using a specific, wonderful reading program which is fun. The students want to use it. Most of these kids have entered grade 1 below reading level. These headphones will help them to close the gap, be successful in middle school, high school and have a better chance of going to college. After college, they can pursue whatever careers they want. But first, they need to know how to read.
More than half of my students are unable to participate with this reading program because we have have been using cheap earbuds and more than half of them have stopped working.
