It has always been a dream of mine to create a room filled with comfortable chairs, bean bags to sit in, a carpet to lay on, and an abundance of learning activities to chooses from. A home away from home for students who don't know what its like to come home to a safe, quiet, comfortable environment. By donating to this project you will be helping create a room where learning at its best takes place. Where the choices are unlimited for each student, whether its quiet time reading a book in a bean bag, partner time listening to stories at the listening center, or small group time building a project at the small, round table where students can sit in rocking chairs. Students will be engaged, comfortable, and excited about learning. By providing my students with a room filled with learning choices and flexible seating students will be able to take charge of their learning. They will be more engaged, and feel safe and supported at school. My hope is to give my students a room where they can feel safe, comfortable, and loved all the while enjoying the love of learning.
