There is one thing that teacher's rarely have a difficult time getting their students to do...PLAY! Play, especially in the early years, is how we learn. These games will allow me to harness my student's desire to play and focus it on their learning, both academically and socially.
There are so many concepts that can be applied simply by playing these games; number sense, attributes, and cooperation just to name a few. I plan to incorporate these games into my center time to support content being taught and to help my students to develop a scheme on which I can build in future lessons.
