Now you can help to empower my students. We have explored a new direction in our classroom through Breakout EDU. Breakout EDU is the educational version of the popular "Escape the Room" experience. Breakout EDU centers around 鈥渁 box that has been locked鈥 with multiple and different locks including directional locks, word locks, and number locks. Students work together to find and use clues to solve puzzles to unlock locks. The breakouts teach teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting by presenting participants with challenges that ignite their natural drive to problem-solve.
What really captured my interest in this concept is that it allows every student to shine and shows students that they all have different strengths. Some tasks might be content related while other clues use teamwork to solve a problem. The next clue might be solving a pattern or decrypting a code. The variety allows students with all different learning styles to participate in some way.
The Breakout EDU box will allow our students the opportunities to learn and refine these skills in a relaxed, fun environment. I completed the free and now I am sure that this would be a huge benefit for my class so I am reaching out to you.
Help me give my young scientists just one Breakout EDU kit and access to a future of fun, engaging learning.
