We feel that it's very important to help our students remain mentally sharp over the summer and not succumb to the "summer slide". We also want to promote reading in the home among our students. In order to accomplish these goals, we are hoping to be able to send each of our students home for the summer with 10 books that they can keep and read with their families. All of the students on our campus are "at risk" for one reason or another, and many cannot afford to build a home library of quality reading material. This project would help bridge the gap and will provide our students with a good set of books to enjoy.
