We are limited on how we use our technology in our classroom and computer lab, because we can't listen to anything. Most of my students don't have headphones or earbuds they can bring to school and when we listen to our technology, it can get deafening trying to hear over each other. Having enough headphones for each of my 26 students will allow us to actually hear what we are learning and allow us to work at our own pace. We will also be able to enjoy the digital library and expand our reading comprehension. Some of our intervention programs have tutorials for the students when help is needed, but they don't like to listen to them when the other students can hear, or so many may be listening at once that they CAN'T hear. Headphones for each student will be a happy addition to our room!
