This project is one that allows the scholars to think of not just themselves, but the community as well. The use of the printer along with the internet and the art supplies such as paint and papers to bring their creations to life allows them to make crafts, cards, and signs and sell them as entrepreneurs while doing so. Too often, the thoughts are formed, but the much needed supplies are limited.
The use of the internet to find resources to design community beautification and to be able to use the printer in class without having to find somewhere to print will minimize a lot of wasted time. Also, the paints supplied with your generosity, will become "little smiles" for the school and neighborhood.
This craft/economics activity will show them that a little can go a long way. The proceeds from marketing and selling their crafts will help them fund the other activities that this group has taken on to help the less fortunate throughout the year
