I am asking for a Lenovo chromebook with a management license. My students will be using the chromebook to improve their proficiency in Math skills. Our emphasis will be on graphing, instructional videos, creating tables, and more. We will be incorporating Google Classroom, Moby Max, and How-To YouTube videos that breaks down concepts for students. My students do not have a clear concept of how Math can help them reach their goals, and it is our hope Chromebooks can support us in this process. Every day, the transition into the digital age is increasingly evident, and, considering the literacy challenges my students already face, I hope to create opportunities for students to not also lack technology skills. My students’ curiosity and appreciation for technology can be supported by technology with a Mathematical focus. If I were to get this project funded, it would have an immeasurable impact on my students and my teaching.
