Having classroom sets of mandatory reading will allow my students to have access to the text. If every student is given the same text, there would be fewer​ barriers to learning. When students buy or obtain copies of books from the library they often have different editions with varying page numbers and chapters. If all students had the same book we would literally be on the same page. It would make my life easier as a teacher and provide a great learning environment for my students. Furthermore, students would not be embarrassed if there were issues in obtaining a book.
