I teach English at AHS in Humble, Texas, and I have the distinct pleasure of educating some of America's best and brightest students! My job is made difficult by the fact that I have more students than I do dictionaries. My average class size is 25-33, and I have 15 dictionaries. Many of these have been torn in half and are missing pages. Dictionaries are vital to the learning process, especially in an English classroom, where students struggle with complex text that requires dictionaries to decipher the language. With these dictionaries, I can empower my students to be resourceful on their quest to acquire knowledge because they will have the tools necessary to propel their education to new heights!
