Math concepts can are so abstract to young learners. If we had more resources such as books, this would help my students to make more connections with the concepts. Young learners are genernally visual learners that's why I feel that the books that are related to the math would help them to be better at reading and math. I am requesting books that teach math concepts. The concepts that are taught in these books are measurement, time, money and shapes. These are all important concepts that will be used in first grade and will help to build on skills for other grades.

About my class
