In making these Masquerade facial forms, students are given the opportunity to shape faces and use manipulative crafts that they would not ordinarily get to use. The crafts such as facials forms, beads, raffia, plaster, acrylic paint; that you are providing us will help students express themselves creatively.
Students can compete in competitions and be proud and confident of what they have made because they enjoyed the variety of materials they were given, and you were apart of that process!
Students use the Elements and Principles of art and have Design thinking skills when they have more materials to work with that are fun, bright, and age appropriate. Students will have a higher level of critical and creative thinking and this will keep them motivated to want to attend art class.
