This project will allow 30 students and five adults to visit the campus of UNC-Wilmington. A lot of our student population consist of first-generation college students. This project will provide an opportunity for the group to experience a guided tour of UNC-Wilmington, eat in the cafeteria, and have a question/answer session with admission representatives, financial aid representatives, and current students. Sadly, many of our students have never visited a college campus and do not even consider college as a viable option. Our goal is to give students an opportunity to experience what a day on a college campus is like and to realize that college is an option for them. This trip is one of four "Road to Success" projects; different students and staff will attend each trip.
