My students will have the opportunity create healthy meals on a budget. Cooking is a positive experience for our students. They love to create something yummy and then eat it. I would love for the students to create cookies and tea or a small meal for their parents during student led conferences. My hope is that would increase our attendance during this event. I think students have a feeling of pride in creating the food and want to share it with their parents. I would love to see my students use the mixer to make treats for the local animal shelter as a service project.
