Many of my students do not have internet access or have the appropriate environment/ academic support to successfully focus on their after school studies. This "Cafe" will provide my ELLs with a comfortable environment, snacks, and academic tutoring, three days a week after school. This "Cafe" will also serve as a support for our ELLs so they can have a safe space to discuss challenges, fears, goals, and strategies as to how to best adapt to their new language, country, city, and school. The materials purchased will be used to create a comfortable environment, provide school supplies, and snacks in a supportive friendly environment. Be the Buffalo is the motto of our classroom!
