"Bakeology" is our classroom catering business. The baking textbooks and colored measuring cups will help the students expand their knowledge and be able to easily identify the correct measuring utensil. Our classroom does multiple fundraisers throughout the year and these textbooks will help the students learn more about the professional skills necessary to be successful in the hospitality industry.
During the senior year of our program, the students also take a course on travel and tourism. Unfortunately, there are more resources for the college level student but middle school/high school resources are minimal. The travel and tourism textbook will be very helpful in expanding the students knowledge and being more successful on the end of course exams. In addition, the information can be incorporated into classroom projects.
