We started a new reading program designed to keep students reading 30-45 minutes daily in school. Students get to choose books at their independent reading level which makes reading fun. They will be immersed in their books during a daily reading schedule, reading books they pick and enjoy. The teacher selects individual students to coach and teach during this reading time. We need lots of books at many different reading levels in order do this program. The kids need to enjoy reading, so a large selection of books at many different reading levels that each student can choose from is crucial.
