The iPad and tripod will allow students to video live news production clips and the software will enable the teacher and students to piece together clips for final production on an existing class PC.
The green screen kit and clamp lights will replace our current plastic tablecloth setup secured at Dollar Tree which helped us venture into the world of green screening and they will legitimize and professionalize our production efforts. Access to thousands of backgrounds will enhance the authenticity of our news scenes, making students feel as if they are actual newscasters, specifically meteorologists, sportscasters, journalists and famous celebrities.
