It will help my students complete their art work and know that it will not get ruined during normal daily activities. Right now every project we do has to dry on the floor (which happens to be right by the sink) so the kids are either stepping on the other students work or dropping water on it which smears it.
The students will be so excited to have a designated place for their hard work to dry and stay safe throughout the day. They work so hard and are so disappointed when something happens to it and because they are so little they take it as a personal attack on them when their personal belongings are damaged even when it is an accident. It causes so much distress to them and it stays with them all day and having this drying rack will really help oleviate the situation.
