The pandemic has changed the world and educators have had to adjust and find ways to connect and teach creatively in a short period of time. As the only art teacher in the district, I have spent countless nights packing and unpacking hundreds of makeshift art-kits for both in-person and virtual students.
I would like to teach the value and importance of responsibility when it comes these supplies by supplying each child with a long-lasting and re-fillable art kit that will follow them throughout Elementary and Middle School.
Each kit will supply one student with the tools they need to succeed through several years of art-class. K-3 students will enjoy the 86 piece art kits and when the time comes for them to graduate to the next level, they will re-gift their kits to incoming kinders and move to the 212 piece kit that will last them until 8th grade. These kits can easily be restocked as supplies run out and are a great way to keep students organized while also keeping them safe during covid as these supplies will only be used by the individual child assigned to that specific kit.
