My students need visual stimulating ways to learn. I have students who can not speak English or are just learning their letters and sounds . The phonics carpet would be a visual way to learn and a way to make our learning environment beautiful. The students need a defined area where to sit on the carpet. We also need an area where the students can sit on the floor and do their work. This would be flexible seating for those students who cannot sit in a seat all day. Some students need different areas to do their work so they are able to pay attention and learn.
