Students come from various socio-economic backgrounds. Being in a school, of over 50% free and reduced lunch, the snacks and items will help students stay nourished. Offering snacks throughout the day, and learning to keep our environment clean, will allow students to regain their focus.
Students need to be able to keep their energy up in order to meet local and state requirements. Having snacks and water may ensure students have the basic necessities to progress through their day. These supplies also minimize social and class gaps among students and their peers. Students may be more successful when not focusing on basic needs.
