As a special education teacher I see a lot of students struggle in Math, which is based on the idea that they can never be ever smart in solving any equations.
The best part of teaching is when your students get their aha moment that anybody can be good in Math.
But another hurdle comes when technology plays a role in learning. Most of my students have socioeconomic challenges that buying a $150 graphing calculator is out of the question.
I want all my students to be successful and to have a calculator should not be a hindrance in learning.
