I teach 26 energetic First Graders in a public inner city school in Rhode Island where resources are very scarce. My students LOVE to listen to stories. I would love to give them the opportunity to listen to stories on tape where the words come alive in a fluid and expressive way to music and sound effects. The stories on tape also model phrasing and fluency and will help to build their sight word vocabulary. The stories on tape are also a good model for fluent writing. I want my students to be the best readers that they can be!!!
