I have a diverse group of students who come from a multitude of backgrounds. Our high school's demographics are 1/4 African American, 1/4 Caucasian, 1/4 Hispanic, and 1/4 other. My classes range from AP English, College Prep English, ELD English and a class for seniors who did not yet pass the California High School Exit Exam. They are an amazing group of young people who deserve much more than I can provide in these economic times. We have not adopted textbooks in many years and even our novel selections are starting to fall apart.
