Hello, my name is Tavon Nathaniel Pope, and I am a middle school social studies teacher in the Baltimore City Public School System. As a social studies teacher, I am tasked with building my students' knowledge of history as well as their writing and analytical skills. For that task, I utilize materials from Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT). My students like the resources we use from TPT because the slides are interesting and challenging. When they complete a DBQ from one of the resources I get from TPT, they feel a sense of accomplishment that comes from doing authentic and demanding work. I appreciate TPT because the lessons help differentiate instruction and have multiple support materials for both myself and students. I am asking for assistance in obtaining the materials and virtual access needed to complete the work that my students, and I have begun and would like to continue this school year.
