My students have had little to no exposure to the new StemScopes curriculum before entering my class. StemScopes is a highly placed, award-winning, a phenomena-based program that empowers your teaching of the Next Generation Science Standards. We have received science stem kits but some of the materials our school just can not afford. Funding this project will make the entrance into the world of science fun and engaging for my young scholars. These materials will help my kids enjoy engaging and innovating science experiments. We will be able to have a science center to allow students to learn and explore science through play. My students will be able to have visual and hands-on support to help build a better understanding of the science lessons found in our curriculum. At this young age, students are ripe and ready to learn.
This will engage students to appreciate and value the field of science by allowing them to experience science first hand. Students will take ownership of their learning so they can achieve at high levels and meet rigorous requirements of the science standards
