The Pandemic and school closure has been so difficult on all students but especially the special needs students that need routine and consistency to thrive. My kiddos have been so resilient during the pandemic. We have returned to the classroom and we are following safety protocols closely. I would like to give each student access to skin colored pencils, crayons and markers to enhance their drawings. It is important to share their visions, experiences, and also their cultures.
Racial equity and inclusion are so important and I want to highlight each of my students. They can draw a picture and the colored pencils, pens and crayons are a tool that all of my students can use.
