Most of my students have no experience in the outdoors. As the new P.E. teacher, I would like to take the 450+ students fishing for the first time. I will teach them how to tie the lines and cast as well as basic methods of catching fish that are found in our local lakes and streams. Part of a good P.E. program is to teach lifelong activities that help students stay active. I believe teaching students to love outdoor activities like hiking, camping and fishing are ideal for our school population. Ohio and Kentucky have an incredible number of lakes and streams to enjoy. I hope you can help me show the next generation how wonderful the outdoors can be.
