These shelves will allow my students to store their science and social studies notebooks along with a science interactive binder in the classroom rather than keeping it in their backpacks. When materials are left in backpacks, it risks the materials being left at home or damaged. If the materials are stored in the classroom, then students will have an effective way of storing and receiving their notebooks. Their backpacks will also be a lot lighter! Currently the students are bringing home their notebooks and binders every day. In my classroom, we have tables, so we are not able to store these items in our desks. Shelves and storage boxes will help me separate each of my six tables by color and help them stay organized!
