We do a weekly gross motor activity to help our students reach physical developmental milestones. Many of our students have delays in gross motor development but are not delayed to a degree which qualifies them for special physical therapy services. We try to meet these students' needs inside our classroom with our weekly gross motor activities. Our obstacle course is one of our students' favorite activities, we want to keep it fresh and exciting for our little learners by incorporating new equipment and activities.
We see gen-ed students and special needs students work together, help each other, and learn and grow.
