My students come to me for dyslexia therapy. We spend about 45 minutes a day focusing on reading, writing, and spelling words. The florescent lights above can cause eyestrain and anxiety when reading alone is difficult enough for these kids.
Also, because I do not have a "homeroom" of students, I do not receive the tissues and cleaning wipes that are typically on a school supply list. Therefore, I have to purchase these items on my own. Now that the flu season is in full force, I am having trouble keeping up with the need for tissues and sanitizing wipes.
