Working in a Title I school is a unique experience. If you’re unfamiliar with the term, a Title I school means it has a certain percentage of students who are at-risk, often living at or below the poverty line. At-risk students are those “considered to be in danger of not graduating, being promoted, or meeting other education-related goals.” I want to grow my students' love of learning. I want them to be able to create things using the hands-on approach.
The white boards and chart paper would greatly benefit my goal of active engagement with my students. I hope that you can help me by choosing to support our project. My students have needs greater than I can fill alone. I need your help.
