Our classroom of little learners is in need of a new learning rug. This rug will be used throughout our day, starting with morning meeting. It provides a place for learning literacy skills, mathematical concepts. Students can also listen to stories, sing songs, do yoga, and play games on our rug.
In addition to academics, this rug also helps with our social emotional development. This rug is designed to give everyone their own personal space. At this early age, we are still developing social emotional skills and body awareness. By providing students with a safe personal space for learning, they can develop their listening and learning skills, which will set them up for success.
