We are a Title I school filled with amazing students. Many of our parents and students are struggling with challenges due to the covid-19 pandemic. These children have done their best with online schooling. However, online school does not allow for a hands on learning experience that is so vital for engaging students in their learning. The flexible seating and materials asked for will be used to encourage students to become more engaged with their learning and to provide a fun learning experience. The materials will help my students become creative thinkers and help them master the foundational math and literacy skills needed for confident students. The magnetic letters will be used for small group instruction. Having something physical to touch and manipulate will help solidify knowledge of the alphabet necessary for good readers and writers. We can't wait to have more hands-on opportunities that will help us have a fun learning experience and encourage lifelong learners.
