I am requesting chromebooks for my 4th grade classroom. The students will be able to research projects. They are to practice “citing evidence,” find the meaning of unknown vocabulary words, and learn how to write essays. By using the computers, the students will be able to keep up with schools and classrooms that have the access to current technology. The Common Core New York State Standards requires that these children keep up and meet these standards. I believe in these kids, they just need the access to complete these projects that are required for their demanding curriculum.
