Magnetic letter sets are an essential and hands-on part of learning to read. These will be used daily in more than one classroom, as I am working with other teachers new to the grade level. These magnetic letter sets will allow us to teach a variety of skills to our students. Students love coming to small group, just as much as I love teaching it! Small group reading is an important part of our Balanced Literacy instruction. In small group, students have the chance to explore and learn new things at their own instructional level, while building confidence. Magnetic letters will help our Kindergarten students learn how to make words, build sight word knowledge, practice phonics skills, and much more!
