When I create my lesson plans, I think about different ways to get my students engaged. My students are visual; therefore, I try to implement as many hands-on activities as possible. We are constantly coloring, cutting, gluing, singing, dancing, and moving. Having colors, markers and glue-sticks for them to use will allow me to keep doing activities where they enjoy the learning process as much as I do.
Every student should have access to a book and hurricane Harvey took all of them from our public library. By having a set of books in my classroom I will increase my students' fluency in the foreign language. I want them to have access to on-level readings where they can get familiar with the content and feel confident about their every day learning.
