Full sets of books will allow for students to interact with important aspects of text such as vocabulary, grammar, punctuation, dialogue, sensory imagery, and figurative language. They are able to see the illustrations through the use of graphic novels. They can refer back to the text as needed if they each have a copy. Art supplies will contribute to a variety of lesson extension activities. Calculators will greatly assist when teaching middle school math when multiplying and dividing as well as practicing math facts and cross-referencing between math materials.
