In this project, I will be teaching the students how to really work with their hands. They will use the clay to create an animal that they feel represents them. We will talk about the animal in you. Working with clay not only gives them the freedom to create, but it also helps with circulation in the hands. After we have finished the molding process they will decorate with acrylic paint and googly eyes I'm sure.
Time to Shine! The next part of this project will be the students' choice. They will be creating beautiful mask that will help them pay attention to detail. These mask will be displayed around the school to help bring Spring and Summer into the building.
