I have the pleasure to teach a group of students who are very dear to my heart. I teach children that classified as having severe emotional and behavioral disorders or autism. Our school serve grades K-12 and has around 200 students in attendance. The students who come to our school are referred by their home schools for extra support for them to have a successful school day. Our school staff works as a team to help our students learn appropriate behavior and social skills, while supplying the students with full access to the academic curriculum. Our goal is to teach our students to use the skills and strategies they have learned with us in a general education setting. Just like other children, our students love using technology to help them learn. The majority of our students have learning deficits and function below their actual grade level.
